Description
Aquarium Munster Faunamor is a pharmaceutical product against Ichthyophthirius (white spot disease) and associated bacterial infections that can be used in both marine and freshwater aquaria. Ichthyophthirius is one of the most common aquarium fish pests.
Symptoms are white dots that appear on the gills, fins and sometimes all over the body.
The fish shows sluggishness and the fins are down or folded over.
It rubs against aquarium rocks or plants in an attempt to get rid of the parasites.
When the gills become heavily infested, the fish appears sluggish in its movements and slims rapidly.
Aquarium Munster Faunamor, features:
- pharmaceutical product;
- designed to combat Ichthyophthirius (white spot disease) and associated bacterial infections;
- Usable in both marine and freshwater aquariums;

Dosage, mode and duration of treatment:
Shake well before use.
Unless otherwise specified: 1st day: Dispense 20 drops (= about 1 ml) of Aquarium Munster Faunamor 20 ml per 100 I of aquarium water.
The dose can be doubled if there is a heavy infestation of the parasite, taking care that there are no animals in the aquarium that are sensitive to the treatment (e.g., Corydoras).
Do not feed the fish.
Disconnect the filter from the aquarium but keep it running in another container so as to keep the microorganisms alive.
Aerate the aquarium water.
If this is not possible without the direct operation of the filter, then make use of the filter itself by removing only the filter material so that there is adequate water circulation.
Keep the filter material in a container that holds at least 20 times the amount of aquarium water (relative to the mass of the filter material). Day 2: Dispense 20 drops (= about 1 ml) of Aquarium Munster Faunamor per 100 I of water.
Do not feed the fish. Day 3: Discontinue the administration of Aquarium Munster Faunamor.
Feed normally.
