Description

Aquarium Munster Dessamor is a pharmaceutical against fungal infections (saprolegnia, achlya) of ornamental fish and concomitant bacterial infections.
Visible symptoms of fungal infections are the formation of a wadding-like layer on the skin of the fish.

Special Precautions

Interactions with other substances: Simultaneous use of water preparation products may render dessamor ineffective.
Do not administer Aquarium Munster Dessamor together with other substances.

Special Warnings:

Lower animals, such as anemones, snails, and shells do not tolerate treatment with Aquarium Munster Dessamor and should therefore be excluded from it.
Fine-leaved aquatic plants, such as Aquatic Cabomba, can be damaged by the use of the drugs.
The intense coloration of the water is induced by the active agents and disappears after a few days.
After the expiration date, do not use the product again.
Keep the drugs in places inaccessible to children.
Keep Aquarium Munster Dessamor away from light and heat.
Keep in original packaging.
Veterinary product.
Do not use for animals intended for human food.

Instructions for dosage, type and duration of use:

Unless otherwise prescribed: Day 1: Pour 60 drops (3 ml) of Aquarium Munster Dessamor per 100 Liters of aquarium water.
Do not administer feed.
Separate the filter from the aquarium and let the pump run on a closed cycle to keep the microorganisms in the filter viable.
Aerate the aquarium water.
If aeration is not possible without using the filter, we recommend leaving the filter running without the filter material to provide enough water movement.
In this case, store the filter material in a container with 20 times the amount of water than the volume of the filter material.
Day 2: 30 drops (1.5 ml) of Aquarium Munster Dessamor per 100 liters of aquarium water.
Do not administer feed.
Day 3: No drug administration.
Give feed normally.
If the filter material has been stored separately, do not put it into the aquarium immediately.
The filter material in this case should be summarily washed with water at medium temperature (not thoroughly to preserve some of the microorganisms).
Day 4-6: Do not administer the product.
Feed the fish normally.
Day 7: Pour 60 drops (3 ml) of Aquarium Munster Dessamor per 100 Liters of aquarium water.
Do not administer feed.
Separate the filter from the aquarium and let the pump run on a closed cycle to keep the microorganisms in the filter viable.
Aerate the aquarium water.
If aeration is not possible without using the filter, we recommend leaving the filter running without the filter material to provide enough water movement.
In this case, store the filter material in a container with 20 times more water than the volume of the filter material.
Day 8: Do not administer medication.
Feed normally.
Change about 30 % of the aquarium water.
Put the filter back into operation.
If the filter material has been stored separately, do not put it into the aquarium immediately.
II filter material in this case should be summarily washed with water at medium temperature (not thoroughly to preserve some of the microorganisms).
The use of aquavital conditioner and aquavital Stress-protect is strongly recommended. Information in case of overdose, discontinuation or interruption of treatment: If an overdose is determined, replace half of the aquarium water with treated seawater and provide filtration with activated carbon.
Simultaneous administration of aquavital conditioner will help bind some of the active ingredients in the overdose.
If an administration has been forgotten, it should be retrieved as soon as possible and then continued with the prescribed dosage.
